Party Terms and Conditions

Confirmation of guest numbers
You will be required to finalise your guest numbers with us when a Funky Planet party co-coordinator calls you the Wednesday before the party (if on a weekend). All children who are of the age of walking and up will need to be paid for to enter the party rooms and will receive a wristband. It is the Birthday child’s parents responsibility to put a wristband on each child who will be participating in the party. Children MUST wear a wristband at all times when in the party rooms and may be escorted out if a wristband is not visible. Extra wristbands may be purchased on the day for extra guests if necessary. Children attending such as siblings but not participating can wait with their parent the coffee shop area at no charge and will not be permitted in the party rooms.

If you receive RSVP’s after you have finalised guest numbers (on the Wednesday before the party) please call us ASAP to let us know so that we can accommodate the extra guest/s.

If you are informed a child can’t make the party after you have finalised guest numbers, you have up to one hour prior to the party start time to amend numbers (maximum 3). After this time full payment will be required

Our base package includes up to 10 children, if you have less you will still need to pay the base package price.

If you are ordering any party extras including children’s optional extras, parents catering or making changes to your initial booking form these need to be confirmed by 5pm sharp on the Wednesday prior (if on a weekend) to the party, no exceptions made for late orders.

Payment Options

At the conclusion  of  your party the outstanding balance will be itemised and ready at the counter for settlement,  the following payment options are available:

Visa, Mastercard or Amex
We DO NOT accept cheques

Please note that the party balance will need to be settled in person and will not be automatically charged to your credit card. In the event that your bill is NOT settled in person at the conclusion of your party the charges incurred will be billed to the credit card given upon booking.


We understand that sometimes circumstances mean that you may have to cancel/change your party date. If this is the case, you may cancel/transfer your party date with no charge up until 4 weeks prior to your party and we will refund your deposit, all cancellations/transfers must be made in writing via email prior to this date. If you need to cancel/transfer your party within one month of the party date you forfeit your deposit. If party is cancelled/transferred within 48 hours of party start time, please be advised full payment will be required including payment for any extras and platters ordered for the adults.


Please advise us prior to the party if any children attending have food allergies. For this reason we STRICTLY DO NOT allow food or drink to be brought onto the premises without prior arrangement, with the exception of the birthday cake. Please remember not nuts of any kind to be used for the decoration or making of cakes. A cleaning fee will be charged if nuts are present.

A $50 cleaning fee will be charged if outside food or drink is found on the premises


Funky Planet allows you 10 minutes prior to your booking time to greet your guests and 10 minutes after for goodbyes. Please note arrival and departure out of the given times will result in a $130 surcharge.

One parent/guardian must remain on the premises and is responsible for all children at the party for the duration of the party.

The proprietors accept no responsibility for any injuries. Please note the activities involved may result in injury to persons or their property, whilst we take all care Funky Planet holds no responsibility.

Any damage caused to the Funky Planet property during the duration of the party including: fixtures, fittings, accessories or gift shop items must be paid by the customer.

Any items or services supplied by Funky Planet are not permitted onto the premises without prior approval with exception of the birthday cake (please do not bring sparklers as the set our smoke alarms off).

Any extra decoration (supplied by the customer) or preparation required for your party is at the discretion of Funky Planet and may incur an extra cost.

We do not split bills


School Holiday Workshop Terms and Conditions

Please be aware that all school holiday workshop bookings require a non refundable, non transferrable payment to secure your child’s place.

Parents are more that welcome to remain on the premises for the duration of the workshop however are not permitted to enter the area with the children, the children can be viewed by the parents from the coffee shop at all times.

As Funky Planet provides food and drinks for all School holiday workshops, we require notification when booking if your child has an allergy or specific needs.
